And that's just the tip of the iceberg on what he's been able to accomplish.
To which, all started back when he was first introduced in 1982 to the commodities trading floor.
His first experience was a unique one...
In fact, let's switch to his perspective to tell this story.
One of the most well-know brokers on the floor at the time made around $10 million.
His name is Mr. Charles.
And while touring the commodities trading floor for the first time...
Mr. Charles turned his head around, looked at me and said:
"Hey! You look like a smart kid. How do you spell commodities?!"
He turned back around and continued screaming into the trading pit.
When I asked my tour guide who it was, he responded with, "That is Mr. Charles. His brother is famous for being the head honcho at the 'HUD' (Housing & Urban Development) of all of NYC and Charles himself is known for making over $10 million dollars here at the commodities exchange."
Right when my tour guide finished speaking, Charles suddenly turned his attention back to me and screamed very loudly with a rash, harsh, sore voice...
"Hey Kid, I've already asked you once! How do you spell Commodities?!"
I immediately belted out loudly, "C-O-M-M-O-D-I-T-I-E-S!"...
Mr. Charles quickly wrote the word down on a piece of paper, looked at me and said, "I know you looked like a smart kid! Thanks,"... and turned back to the ring and started screaming and yelling again.
I thought the broker Charles was just testing me by asking me to spell commodities...
In reality, he needed me to spell out the word commodities for him, so that he would spell the word correctly in a note he was writing to somebody else.
This Was My Awakening!
I turned to my tour guide and said…
“Are you telling me this guy in front of me has made over 10 million dollars trading in a building THE CANNOT EVEN SPELL THE NAME OF?!!”
That very day I went home, switched my college from day courses to night classes, quit the job I had, and found a job on the trading floor.
I figured, if that guy can make that much money in a place he can’t even spell the name of, there's a good shot I can make some dough up here too.
The rest is HISTORY!
